Pensacola International Airport is an airport 4 miles(6 km) northeast of the central business district of Pensacola, Florida. In 1938 flights began to Mobile, Atlanta and Jacksonville. In the 40's, the airport was a U.S military airport. In 1952, Eastern Airlines came to Pensacola with U.S Airways, Delta Airlines and United/Continental coming to Pensacola in the 80's.
